Quenza App
FAQs
What is Quenza?
Quenza is an application that enables coaches and mental health practitioners to digitally engage their clients with homework exercises, assessments, psychoeducation, and online care paths. Quenza users deliver better care to their clients at a larger scale while eliminating time spent on administrative tasks and email, thereby drastically saving time.
Who developed Quenza?
Quenza has been developed by Dutch serial entrepreneurs Hugo Alberts, PhD, Seph Fontane Pennock, and Ernst Jansen who - with over a decade of experience in the mental health space - founded one of the largest mental health platforms, PositivePsychology.com.
Why is it important for the counseling process & treatment?
Weekly sessions are essential to my therapy method and style. However, I've always felt a disconnect between sessions regarding homework reminders, follow-ups, and general access to communicate your thoughts as they come up throughout the week. My memory fails me at times, on what content I've sent out and/or the homework I've assigned. It gets lost in notes, emails, and text. With Quenza, everything clinical will be in one place and organized with the date and time stamps. Also, Quenza is HIPAA compliant and you can send sensitive treatment information to your clinician directly 24/7.
What is the cost?
The application is free to download for patients on the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store. There is a monthly fee for the clinician. To cover some of this cost, there is a $30 one-time fee for this service after you have been active in therapy for 90 days. If you discontinue before 90 days, there is no charge. This is not covered by insurance.
Is this optional?
No, this service is required for my counseling services as it is integrated into everything I do as a therapist.
What Quenza is not?
Quenza app is NOT an online therapy platform like Talkspace or BetterHelp. This is not my primary method of communication with my clients. Quenza app is not a sufficient form of counseling or psychotherapy treatment, and will only be used as a supplemental tool to enhance counseling services and treatment. Quenza app is NOT responsible for the delivery of any healthcare and/or medical advice. Quenza is NOT an Emergency Service and should be used for mental health emergencies, please call 911.
